Introduction

The Department of Zoology Shangla Campus University of Swat offers BS Zoology (4years) program. Zoology deals with the study of animals that comprised of physiology, ecology, genetics, behavour, Zoogeography, Wildlife etc. It is one of the interesting fields of animal sciences that mainly provide protection, conservation and overall study of animal form and function. Department of Zoology is one of the prominent fields at campus that receives highest number of applications every year for BS Zoology. The offered courses will educate the students in the field of Zoology and the graduates would be able to serve in prestigious institutions at national and international level. Trained graduates will work to cater the needs of the market demand and professional jobs in the future.

 Department of Zoology intended to provide quality education at the doorstep to the local stockholders. Department of Zoology will provide basic training in the field of life sciences including ecology, ethology, reproduction, genetics conservation and protection of wildlife and natural resources of the country of Envisions to inculcate the highest values of life, science education, respect for nature, concern for ethical values among students and holistic development of the student to contribute effectively for society through good and scientific educational practices.
