Bacha Khan University Charsadda and the University of Shangla have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen academic and research collaboration between the two institutions. The MoU was formally signed by Prof. Dr. Khan Alam, Vice Chancellor of Bacha Khan University Charsadda, and Prof. Dr. Sardar Khan (TI), Vice Chancellor of the University of Shangla.

The agreement was also signed by Dr. Faiz Ur Rahman, Director ORIC, University of Shangla, and the Director ORIC, Bacha Khan University Charsadda. Under this MoU, both universities have agreed to collaborate in key areas including joint research and publications, faculty and student exchange programs, and mutual cooperation in seminars, workshops, and academic conferences.

The partnership further encompasses collaboration on curriculum development, the introduction of market-driven academic programs, and initiatives aimed at enhancing the overall quality of higher education. Speaking on the occasion, the Vice Chancellors emphasized their shared commitment to promoting a strong research culture, strengthening academic standards, and providing quality education to better serve society.
