The University of Shangla under the Vice Chancellorship of Prof Sardar Khan (TI) organised a day of Gratitude on this Friday. The university organised a program with different events. Mr Mehraban Alam was the organiser of the program. Students of different departments, faculty members along with heads of the departments participated in this program. The program strated with recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by National Anthem, students speeches (Urdu, English and Pashto), prayers for nation and country. At end of program the Windup Speech was given by Mr Mehraban Alam thanking all the honorable guests and faculty and students.
Following the ceremony, the university also held a Solidarity Walk and Flag Hoisting Ceremony, where students displayed placards with various slogans and messages, expressing solidarity with the Pakistan Armed Forces and addressing the international community, along with specific appeals to the Indian government.
In his message, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Shangla emphasized that Pakistan’s armed forces have firmly established themselves as an undefeatable power in the region, sending a strong message to the enemy that Pakistan should not be underestimated in the future. He praised the Pakistan Armed Forces for their decisive and forceful response to India’s provocations and highlighted the role of the government under Narendra Modi in escalating tensions. The Vice Chancellor further emphasized that the nation stands united behind its armed forces, reiterating the commitment to defend the integrity and sanctity of Pakistan. He pledged that the country is ready to sacrifice all for the protection and security of its sovereignty.
Faculty members, students and administrative staff of the university participated in the solidarity walk with great enthusiasm and patriotism. The event culminated with prayers for the safety and security of the Pakistan Armed Forces and the entire nation."
